Abstract Introduction Acquired vaginal stenosis known as gynetresia has remained more common than the congenital type in developing countries where women engage all manner of harmful practices including insertion corrosives into vagina, female genital mutilation among others. Objective The objectives study were to find out current prevalence acquired gynetresia, pattern presentation, associated risk factors, treatment modalities employed and outcomes such care. Methods A retrospective (vagina stenosis) cases managed at our facility over a 20years period (2000 - 2019). total admission under was retrieved from hospital records department well indexed for vagina stenosis/atresia. medical retrieved.
